Yamagiri Sencha
Yamagiri Sencha
This sencha is satisfying for Japanese tea beginners and connoiseurs alike. The leaves for this tea grow in the mist-shrouded fields of the Harashima family's mountain tea gardens in the upper mountains of Yabe village, Yame District in Fukuoka; the name yamagiri, translated, means mountain mist.
After picking, the family expertly blend tea leaves from yabukita, saemidori, okumidori, and okuyutaka cultivars to craft a balanced and fresh sencha with crisp, nutty notes. We selected this sencha as one we would recommend to any individual or household as their staple daily green - we are sure it will elevate any day whether working or resting. Also highly recommendable as a cold brew.
