Porcelain Tea Cup

This small, hand thrown porcelain cup can be used for enjoying tea or as a tea-light holder. The porcelain is so fine that the light from a candle glows through the walls of the piece.

This piece was fired in a gas kiln to 1380°C and has subtle, craqueled areas that will become more prominent with tea drinking. The light shines through the delicate material and every piece is unique.
