Mate Gourd

Mate gourd from San Juan, Argentina. 

A gourd from the calabash tree is hollowed out, cleaned and a metal foot is added.

Bombilla not included.

How to cure your mate:

• Wet the edges of the gourd with cold water
• Add 2 tablespoons of alcoholic beverage(>45%)
• Light the alcohol up and keep the flame for approximately 2 minutes
• After 2mins, turn off the heat and clean the inside of the mate
• Add moistened Yerba into the mate for 12 hours
• Your mate its ready to be used !
