February - Introduction to tea brewing
This session will focus on how to brew loose leaf tea. Together we'll brew different tea types using different vessels (like teapots, gaiwans, shiboridashis or just cups!) and brewing techniques to make sure that everyone leaves the workshop feeling confident enough to brew great tea for themselves at home. Whether you want to drink excellent tea but you want it fast or you want to master gong fu brewing for quiet, calm moments at home, this workshop will teach you what you need to know.
Each brewing technique will of course be demonstrated with the help of a wonderful tea from the rami selection, so you'll get to try some great, loose leaf teas as well and ask as many questions as you like along the way. We can't wait to give you all the knowledge you need to make drinking speciality tea a big part of your every day!
Courses take place at the rami tea house, with a maximum of 6 participants.
