April - Japanese green tea
Japanese green teas are so well-loved. Classic senchas, umami-rich ceremonial gyokuros, toasty kamairichas, creamy matchas, kukichas, genmaichas and hojichas - did you know that this category was so diverse? In this very special tea session we're going to take you through a tasting of Japanese greens but, more than that, we're going to have some fun with brewing as well. We'll play with temperature and time and you'll get to taste the most intense, rich, mouth-tingling drops of tea of your life!
This workshop will not only be a symphony of flavour and aroma, it will also give you the confidence to be a bit more experimental when brewing your own tea at home - we'll extract every level of flavour these masterful teas have to offer.
