Fukamushi Sencha Saemidori
Fukamushi Sencha Saemidori
Fukamushi-cha describes a group of ‘deep-steamed’ Japanese green teas. The leaves are steamed for twice as long as other senchas, giving them a characteristically rich and bold flavour.
This is a premium, deep-steamed tea of the saemidori cultivar - one of your and our favourite cultivars as it is rich and full with a pronounced umami flavour. This fukamushi is dense with a bright green infusion and a mild astringency that is very well-balanced against the tea's creamy texture and pleasant sweetness.
This tea is fantastic for traditional multiple brewing and is excellent brewed cold.
