January - Mindful tea session
This workshop is very important to us because it's exactly we love about drinking tea. We're going to show you how to prepare your tea a little more consciously: set up your tea table, take a seat and then use all of your senses to brew and enjoy it. Touch the leaves and warm pot, breathe in the aroma of the dry and then damp leaves, watch the leaves as they dance and unfurl, pour your tea and look at the colour of the infusion, breathe in the warm tea vapours and close your eyes, smell the wet leaves, take a sip, be quiet.
Drinking tea can transport us into the present moment in the most satisfying way - with a little practice, your rushed daily tea can become your oasis of calm in a chaotic day. It doesn't have to take hours, sometimes even taking 5 minutes to set up your space and pour your tea can give you a whole new perspective.
