Dark Bamboo — 100 Prongs
Deep bamboo tone with 100 fine prongs, producing a dense, velvety foam.
Light Bamboo — 80 Prongs
Natural, pale bamboo with 80 prongs, creates firmer foam.

Before first use, soak the chasen in hot water for a few minutes to loosen the prongs. With further use, soak it briefly in warm water to maintain flexibility and reduce the risk of breakage. Clean with warm water only, avoiding soap or detergents. Store handle-down with prongs facing upward, ideally on a chasen stand, to preserve its shape.
