2011 Yongde Da You Jiu Wan Sheng - Pu'er Tea

A unique Sheng (raw) Pu-Erh brick

The leaves come from 100–200 year old trees in the Yongde region of Yunnan, crafted by the Taiwanese company Da You and carefully stored on site. This tea surprises with floral and fruity notes reminiscent of yellow fruits, a gentle sweetness, and a lively, long-lasting energy. It holds up beautifully across many infusions, each cup as energising as the last.

Brewing:
Use a gaiwan or small teapot for the best results. Break off around 6 g of tea per 150 ml water, brew at 90–95 °C. Steep 10–20 seconds for the first infusion, then gradually increase the time for subsequent brews.
