Yuzu Kukicha - green tea

We are so happy to bring you this citrus infused green tea from Japan – elegant yet incredibly easy to drink, refreshing and exciting at the same time! 

Susumu, who just started his first very own natural tea production in Shizuoka last year, created a perfect balance between the gentle, sweet grassy notes of Kukicha twigs and the bright, flowery citrus aroma of Yuzu peel - definitely an uplifting combination. 

Kukicha is a Japanese green tea made from the stems leftover from Sencha production, and is naturally lower in caffeine. Its perfect for the afternoon or any time you need a subtle pick-me-up. Susumu uses only organic fertilizers and no pesticides on his fields, reflecting his deep dedication to natural farming. Of course then also the Yuzu - a highly fragrant East Asian citrus fruit - used here is grown nearby and organically.

This tea works wonderfully both hot and as a cold brew, offering a crisp, revitalizing experience.
