Black floral Teapot

Black clay kyusu, the traditional side-handled teapot used for pouring tea in Japan. Rounded shape with painted white Plum(Ume) blossoms, unglazed on the inside. 

Pours through a built-in, fine ceramic strainer at the spout. We particularly prefer this kind of strainer as it supports a good tea flow and is easier to clean than metal mesh.

Particularly well suited for Japanese green teas. 

Made in Tokoname, one of Japan's six oldest kiln towns.

Volume: 280ml.
