A remarkable Sheng (raw) Pu-Erh from wild 100-year-old trees in the forests of Menghai.
Crafted by the Taiwanese company Da You to celebrate the founding of Shengjing, this tea uses leaves from wild trees in the villages of Yibi and Sanhe. The result is a deeply satisfying tea with a strong body and focused energy. It is fresh, juicy, and complex, offering layers of flavor reminiscent of apricot marmalade and baked chicory, with subtle floral and spicy undertones.
Brewing:
For best results, use a gaiwan or small teapot. Break off around 6 g of tea per 150 ml water, brew at 90–95 °C. Steep 10–20 seconds for the first infusion, then gradually increase the time for subsequent brews.
