Japanese green tea from stems, flavoured with natural peel of the yuzu citrus fruit.
Kukicha is made from pieces of stem from the tea leaves, a by-product in Sencha production. Since coffeine is concentrated in the tips and smallest leaves of the plant, this tea is naturally low in coffeine.
It is very attractive and refreshing, the yuzu adds a wonderful sweet and tart taste. An impressive, lively green colour in the cup, pleasant to drink as cold-brew too.
