This one of a kind vase by Vaclav Kugler was lying at the fire box of Václav’s Phoenix kiln while firing to 1380°C. This specific area of the kiln is very risky but rewarded him with a wonderfully diverse and rough structure from ash deposits and natural ash glaze, iron extractions and other processes from the wood-firing that have engraved themselves on the outside structure. This unique object is just waiting for its place in your tea setup.
