Si Ji Chun Gaba

GABA teas are processed in low-oxygen, nitrogen-rich environments in order to optimise their GABA content. GABA stands for gamma-aminobutyric acid, a human neurotransmitter which occurs naturally in tea. Many people believe that drinking GABA teas can have a positive impact on a number of ailments, including insomnia, anxiety and hypertension. This is a GABA-oolong with a high level of GABA, alongside a very enjoyable flavour and drinking experience and is produced by Mr. Chen at his natural tea gardens in the Ming Jian District of Nantou in Taiwan. The tea is golden yellow, full-bodied and has a sweet, buttery texture with interesting notes of pickled pineapple.
