Mao Cha is the first stage in Pu-Erh making – these loose leaves have been sun-dried but not further processed into sheng (raw) or shu (ripe) Pu-Erh.
This tea is energetic, has a strong sweetness and fine floral taste, is pleasant and bold at the same time. Rich in flavour facettes, very long lasting aftertaste, moderately energising.
