Lùng Vài Old Trees White

This Vietnamese, pressed white tea was processed in the Moonlight White style using leaves from wild-growing, 100-200 year old tea trees in the Lùng Vài area of Hà Giang, Vietnam. Lùng Vài is northeast of the Tây Côn Lĩnh mountain, the tallest mountain in the Hà Giang province.

The cakes contain a 1 bud, 2-3 leaf picking standard and the resulting tea has a heavy sweetness with a complex floral fragrance and a light bitterness which keeps the flavour profile in balance. The tea has a wonderful depth and is a great candidate for ageing due to the high quality raw material. The tea has a rich, ruby colour and can last many brewings – an ideal every-day tea for white tea lovers.
