Lu Ye Ying Xiang Hong Oolong

Hong oolongs are darker, heavily oxidised oolongs that sit on the border between oolongs and black teas. This tea is medium roasted and made at Mr Lin’s natural tea gardens in the lush, Lu Ye valley in Taiwan, with the ‘Ying Xiang’ cultivar, which means welcoming aroma. This name perfectly describes a tea which is comforting, straight-forward yet interesting had has aroma notes which include preserved fruits, treacle and baking. Our favourite tea for this winter.

Flavour profile: treacle, juicy, deep, dried fruit, baking, uplifting
