Gabalong – Oolong, Japan

Japanese Oolong with high GABA content, due to a processing discovered by Japanese scientists in the 1980ies. The special amino acid GABA is a naturally occuring substance in green tea, but through this special process where the tea leaves are placed in nitrogen-rich chambers, its concentration can be increased.

Because GABA acts as a neurotransmitter – this tea is well known for its health benefits and is said to help control bloodpressure, reduce stress, tension and anxieties. It also helps with concentration and fatigue or insomnia.

GABA content: 182 mg per 100mg.
