1990 Menghai Xiao Shu Pu-Erh

This is an archived, shu (ripe) pu’er with the famous ‘Chen Xiang’ – aged fragrance.

Not much is known about its origin, other than that it was brought to Taiwan in the nineties and has matured under very good storage conditions there. This tea is clean, earthy, and sweet but intense, deep and strong, yet it gives you a warm, calm rather soothing body-feeling. Long aftertaste. This cute 100g cake is the perfect opportunity to taste several decades aged tea.

taste profile: intense, deep, clean, earthy, sweet, incense and hints of medicinal herbs
